Portrait of a Survivor: Katy Carroll Moncus {Columbus, GA Portrait Photographer}

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we gave away a free session to breast cancer survivor, Katy Carroll Moncus, of Columbus, GA. Just over a year ago, Katy was diagnosed at the age of 29, with no history of cancer in her family. Throughout her fight, she and her family shared her story with thousands of others through website, http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/katycarrollmoncus. Now, numerous chemo treatments later, she is cancer free. Thank you, Katy, for allowing me to capture your strength and beauty, and letting other young women know about the importance of early detection.
